In 1970, the late Donny Hathaway released his first solo album, “Everything Is Everything”. Recorded in Chicago over a one-year period, the effort was produced by Donny and fellow Howard University alum, RIC POWELL, who co-wrote the title track as well as authored the LP's liner notes. In this SOULFUL CONVERSATION, Ric discusses the making of “Everything Is Everything”, his friendship/partnership with Donny as well as the great songs that made this album a classic.
