Digging back into the archives of DJ Eclipse's "The Halftime Show" unveils a studio interview with Large Professor from 2006 during the release of his first instrumental LP "Beatz". In between a best-of 1989-1990 Hip Hop set, Extra P plays 2 alternate arrangements and recording of the Illmatic classic "It Ain't Hard To Tell", featuring new ad-libs, drums and drops.
This is a historic show to wet the appetite of Hip Hop fanatics with the presence and great stories of the culture which Large brings, and funky sounds by numerous artists of The Golden Era. Interview with Large Pro begins at 21:25 in Part 2 of the show, first alternate version of "It Ain't Hard To Tell" played at 33.19, the second played at the end of the show.
